Hey, how come there are no people in any of the pics here (apart from the birthday girl? ;)...?? That is kind of unique here :). Just an observation. no more. I like people less pics too.

In this particular case, a person or someother object in the image might have added drama to the picture by becoming a scale with which to measure the Minar. But that might be difficult without creating an intrusion into the view.

But this is a good image. Good clarity and a different angle.

As a rule i dont photograph ppl unless there is a request, but i wont post it here in my blog.
Yes i agree a person in the frame makes it more interesting. Clicked one such but the above rule applies.

Jo, thank you. There is a spot near minar which looks like an entrance to a dungeon, shot this frm there...thus the angle.

ML - the details of art on the QB are beautiful and clear in the pic.

I would love to put a pic of QB and the Washington monument side by side - just to compare the different architectures. One is rustic, one is sleek.
