Thought i'll start a series on something off the beaten track..

The theme of this image is based on an old saying in Malayalam, if you are from that part of the world you might get what this image is trying to convey.

As always your comments/suggestions are very much appreciated.

Yeh! for non mullus like me, would be nice if u include the saying with the translation. About the pic a diagonal composition and more contrast would work better.

nice composition ML, no clue abt the saying, when I muse I relate with this tamizh saying

"kozhi mithithu kunju saagumaa"

though not exact it roughly mean..

would a hen hurt its chicken ?

like

would a thorn hurt it's leaf ?

Theres actually a saying in tamil which says "Selayla mullu pattaalum, mullula selai pattaalum, selaikku thaan setham".
When theres a saree and thorn, the ultimate damage is to the saree.
Heard this dialogue in a tamil movie. Quite contemporary ah? :)
