Looks like the black in this image is not absolutely black.. more like gray.. did u do some pp?

~Krishna~ - Thanks. Those are big words...coz i use the tubelights in the kitchen and the lamp [refer the image Lights] in the dining room for lighting most of my still life photographs. This was shot in the kitchen using the light from the tubelight, also used 2 blackboards to give the black BG.

~srikanth~ thank you. I think it is the phase we all go through, for sometime it was the 'nature and flowers only' now it is 'still life'...soon this too will pass ^sigh^

~Sojo~ - I prefer black BG, somehow it brings out the best in the object. What you see is a black posterboard, actually 2 are used in the image. No PP required coz it doesnt reflect. Hi5 on the last part..i prefer the same.
