Oh man gorgeous. IMO moon can symbolise both romance and loneliness. My fav moon song in tamil movies has to be 'Nilave vaa seladhe vaa' from Mouna Raagam.

ML, This is simply the great. Wow!

I like the song from "Minsaara kanavu" but J's suggestion is my fav. Also how about "Nilaa kaaikirathu" (if I'm right about the lyrics) from the movie "Indira"? Another Rahman composition and I love it when Harini sing this song. :-)

Jai jai piracy! (i've been collecting some DVDs lately. All pirated ones. 100 bucks per disc. Got a lot of good movies!). :D

Did you notice "jai jai piracy"?? :-)) I got the punched DVDs (pirated ones, but very good prints with all the special features and I get to check the print with these guys as I visit them often) for 100 "uruppika". Master prints are expensive. last time when I was in B'lore I bought The Last Emperor and it doesn't have English subtitles, but Hindi. Another DVD from Planet M, "Good Will Hunting" has stupid English sub-titles. So pirated ones gives me freedom to choose!!! inkilaab sindhaabaad! :D

ML - I saw the moon last night and was enamoured by it's beauty as I drove back home around 9.30pm. The feather lite clouds nearby gleaming in the moonlight made the scene even more beautiful.

I came home thinking I must capture that but as I walked home, my mind was flooded with other thoughts and this magical moment was forgotten.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that you had indeed taken the time to capture one such moment. How often we forget to enjoy or cherish the wonderful things in life - how often we take them for granted...

ML - I get the feeling that you can sing well ;-) Why don't you record the couplets of your daily song and post the audio along with it ?? - I know that will make my day coz I am not the type to go get the song from some link...

Wow! Good one, magic lens!

Reminds me of this funny incident a long time back when I had tried to take the picture of the 'blue moon'(the second full moon in a month) with some ordinary camera 'with flash'!!!

Since most 'nila' songs are already mentioned, I broke my head and got this not so famous one!

Capturing the moon is always a tricky thing.. i never got it right! always it would end up as a tiny spec in the sky.. :-) may be i should try a lot of snaps again.. one day i'll get a huge gorgeous snap of the moon...
