Iris, could be 2-3 ft, i zoomed in too. The image is cropped to give more emphasis on the subject.

So cropping is not a sin in photography? :). That is good to know.(i do that a lot)
Or is it just as artificial as using filters for enhancing the sky and stuff? I dont think it matters for ameteurs like u and i...(Then, strcitly speaking, we must not photograph with anything other than a 35 mm lens and no lighting and timing corrections - it is all artifical too, isn't it? :)
